Udderly Cool Creamery cheese is handcrafted in west central Georgia by cheesemaker/owner, Jeff Green and wife Karen. Our cheese contains no preservatives, antibiotics, artificial ingredients or colors. We transport 100% fresh, raw, milk from the Berry College Dairy in Rome Georgia to our little Roopville, Georgia creamery, and pasteurize using the low-temp vat pasteurization method.
For the last 10 years, we have focused on handcrafting exceptionally aged and seasoned, classic cheeses, like Gouda, and Pepper Jack. We've also streamlined a method to smoke our aged Gouda that allows us to age the wheels and then cold smoke. We're probably best known for our Applewood Smoked Gouda, but we also make other aged varieties including "Farmer's Beddar than Cheddar" and 2017 American Cheese Society winner, Fromage Blanc cream cheese . In addition, since December of this year, we've been working to produce an outstanding signature blue cheese we hope to launch end of 2019 or early 2020. God has been good to us and we are grateful and humbled to do what we do!
