About Us
Our Story
Udderly Cool Creamery cheese (est. 2010 in the rolling hills of Roopville) is handcrafted in northwest Georgia by cheesemakers/owners, Jeff Green and wife Karen. From creamery to customer, all cheese making processes and packaging are done individually, and BY HAND. Two separate, climate controlled rooms gently age each wheel at just the right temperature and requisite humidity. One to two times each month, they transport 100% fresh, raw milk from the Berry College Dairy in Rome Georgia to the creamery in Roopville. Udderly Cool Cheeses contain no preservatives, antibiotics, artificial ingredients or colors and will always be the color of the milk from which they are crafted. Heating of the milk is minimal, pasteurizing gently, using the low-temp vat pasteurization method.
